Workhorse A-9 Cut Resistant Bruiseless® hand and forearm protector is designed for extreme conditions requiring the highest level of cut resistant available. It is larger inside to accommodate work gloves of any type. The outside layer is made with Armortex®. The model of Armortex® used on the outer layer of Workhorse A-9 Cut Resistant is A-9 cut resistant and Puncture, tear and abrasion resistant. The inside layer is Ballistic Nylon 1680d Denier, polyurethane coated giving an approximate melting point of 410°F (210°C). Highly abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, water-repellent, mildew resistant, and strong. (See specifications at Bruiseless.com.) The built in Patent Pending impact absorbing system protects the user from direct impact to the top of the forearm and top of hand. The top of the hand shield will protect the user from small impacts. The top of the forearm has a larger shield that can resist larger impacts and not be felt by users. While the impact system has not yet been tested to give an accurate impact resistant amount, the user can be hit with a socket wrench on the top of the forearm with a strong amount of force without feeling anything. This of course depends on how hard someone can swing a socket wrench and how big the socket wrench is. The fact is that the impact-resistant system works. Minor injuries caused by low to medium impact are stopped.
